Trees for Troops

In partnership with the Christmas Spirit Foundation and FedEx, MWR is excited to announce that Rock Island Arsenal has been chosen again this season as a distribution location for the Trees For Troops Program.

Free live trees of varying species and size (5'-7') will once again be available to active duty Military families of the Rock Island Arsenal community to include Guard and Reserve troops.  This year we also have free tree stands available. Trees will be available for pick up on a first come, first served basis beginning on Friday, December 4th at 8:15 a.m. Trees will also be available for pick up the next day, Saturday, December 5th from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. and the entire next week, December 7-11 from 8:15 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Beginning on December 14th, at 8:15 a.m. any remaining trees and stands will be made available to the rest of the Arsenal workforce.
