Valentine's Day Wine/Spirit Pairing Dinner

Treat your Valentine to a special evening at the beautiful and historic Arsenal Island Clubhouse this Valentine's Day.  Each of the seven courses of this delicious dinner service will be accompanied by a perfectly paired wine or cocktail making this a gastronomic experience you won't soon forget.  After dinner get out on the dance floor and dance the night away with your special someone.  Cost is $110/couple and you can make reservations by calling +1 309-782-4372.  This event is open to the public and has been designated a special event so you can simply present a state or govt. issued ID at the gate to access the Island.

Course #1:
Goats Cheese and Poached Pear Puff Pastry with Tomatillo Sauce paired with JK Williams Bourbon Barrel Whiskey.

Course #2:
Garlic Veloute Caramelized Fennel and Chicken Quenelle Served in a Bread Bowl paired with Story Point Chardonnay.

Course #3:
Butter Head Lettuce Leaves with Grilled Eggplant and Portobello Mushroom Relish paired with Story Point Cabernet.

Course #4:
Mascarpone Cheese Smoked Salmon Stuffed Dover Sole Served over Angel Hair Pasta with Lemon paired with Starborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Course #5:
Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Fresh Asparagus Tapenade and Spinach Dauphine Potatoes paired with Rancho Zabaco HV Zinfandel.

Course #6:
Berry Chocolate Cake with Crème Anglaise and Caramel Sauce paired with Jackson Morgan Salted Caramel Southern Cream Cocktail.
